Michael J. Hahn, P.E., CIAQP, CBCP, LEED AP has over 20 years experience in the mechanical engineering field and is a
Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional, Certified Building Commissioning Professional, and an accredited professional
in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. He has served as a graduate research/teaching a
ssistant at Georgia Tech.
At Hahn Engineering he is responsible for mechanical engineering and design of HVAC, controls, plumbing and fire
protection systems in new or renovated building projects, both public and private. He has extensive involvement in
chilled water, ice storage, VAV, laboratory ventilation, heat pump, and split systems for school campus buildings,
office buildings, retail/restaurant facilities and military installations. He is also involved in the construction
administration, cost estimating, bidding and negotiation of these projects.
Mr. Hahn is a licensed Energy Auditor, and has served as a Technology awards judge for ASHRAE on the national level.
